Hemp Ecomuseum

The museum is located in the Thomas House, an old building in the center of the village of Chardonney, where there is also a sales outlet of the "Lou Dzeut" Cooperative. An old wooden hand loom and warper can be admired. The loom has been restored, rebalanced to be fully functional and usable for demonstration purposes. A fiber-optic lighting system has been set up to help recreate the muffled atmosphere of semi-darkness in which humans and animals coexisted in winter.
