Parcours " Bois de Chardonney"

Parcours découverte: is something more than the traditional nature trail because it offers even the youngest children the opportunity to learn about the beauty and naturalistic peculiarities of the protected area, through play and the excitement of discovery. The trail stimulates children's curiosity by encouraging them to use sight, hearing and touch.
A concrete and direct contact is thus created with the various facets of the complex natural context in which they are immersed It is located on the orographic right of the Ayasse stream, near the ski lifts in the locality Chardonney. It winds through the forest, taking advantage of the route of the cross-country ski trail. Children can discover the environment of the Mont Avic Natural Park in an interactive way, approaching nature with an emotional perception.
In the 16 ''thematic islands'' (the stream, the lichen garden, the soft path, the alder gallery, the butterfly garden, listening, the fairy house,...) they will be able to observe a characteristic aspect of the place.
The thematic islands are specially designed to stimulate the child to learn the concepts covered with an emotional and physical approach through tactile, visual, auditory and olfactory stimuli From June to September.
