The main itinerary can be completed in seven days, allowing you to enjoy the territory you are travelling through.
The walking time for each stage varies from 3 to 5 hours per day; very fit hikers can reduce the total number of days needed to complete the route.
The daily elevation gain does not exceed 1,000 metres and the stages range from eight to sixteen kilometres in length.
During this week, you will have the opportunity to admire not only an environment of great interest, but also old, very characteristic villages, bridges, mule tracks, ovens and many other signs of the past.
In addition to the main route, there are variations that allow you to reduce the most challenging stages or visit nearby routes of great interest.
Another important aspect is that both the departure and arrival points are easily accessible by public transport.
To make the journey easier, you can request luggage transport from one stop to another (excluding the Barbustel refuge), making the walk more enjoyable.
The route can be organised independently or you can use the trekking organisation service.
At the end of this adventure, a surprise awaits you on arrival at Forte di Bard.
